Fresh Home-made Ice cream


Home-made vanilla ice cream by Lis-art

Hey there!

Even if it is nearly school time, I still enjoy the last summerdaaayyzz. And what could be better than some fresh home-made ice-cream to end the summer in beauty? It is really easy to make and addictive once it is ready.

So here is my recipie for delicious selfmade vanilla icecream:

Ingredients:

- 1/2 l milk

- 200 ml cream (35%)

- 4 egg yolks

- 100g sugar

- 1 vanilla pod

Instructions:

- Bring the milk and the cream to a boil.

- Split the pod and add the seeds to the milk-cream mixture.

- Helm the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl and add gradually the hot milk-cream mixture.

- Boil this on low heat until the foam has disappeared.

- Put the whole in the fridge.

- After 30 minutes it is ready to be churned in the ice cream maker.

And it's done. Quite easy isn't it?

If you're like me and like to make your goodies presentable, you can always decorate your ice with some strawberries and a hot chocolate sauce ; )
